Thompsons started in the 1970s at Wood Green Shopping Centre, where we quickly outgrew our premises. Our specialist seafood stall moved in the mid-70s to Holloway Road and Seven Sisters, where our fishmonger business truly flourished, as well as operating at Archway Junction Road through the 70s and 80s. The 90s saw Thompsons Seafood move into Tottenhams Holcombe Market which has been renovated in the last few years, just a short walk from Bruce Grove station and a 10-15 minute walk from Tottenham Hale.
Our display features wild catches such as Cod, Coley, Pollack, Hake, Conger, Whiting, Plaice, Halibut, Turbot, Monk, Mackerel, Herring, Sardine, Skate, John Dory, Lemon Sole, Dover Sole, Wild Bass, Grey Mullet, and Gar Fish. We supply farmed Bass, Bream, Trout, Carp, and whole or filleted Scottish Salmon.
